Nigerian Cybersecurity Expert Ademilola Adeleye Honoured with NIPES Fellowship

Nigerian-born cybersecurity leader Ademilola Adeleye has been awarded a prestigious Fellowship by the National Institute of Professional Engineers and Scientists (NIPES), marking a major milestone in an already distinguished career. This accolade recognises exceptional individuals who have made notable contributions to the advancement of engineering and scientific disciplines globally.

Adeleye currently serves as the Lead Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst at ExamWorks LLC in the United States—a key player in the delivery of independent medical exams and healthcare compliance services. In this pivotal role, he leads efforts to protect sensitive data and ensure the organisation’s adherence to rigorous cybersecurity standards.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Nigeria and an MBA from the United Kingdom, Adeleye brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to the field of cybersecurity. His career began with the U.K. Highways Agency, where he served as Regional Control Officer, developing risk and safety protocols that laid the groundwork for his future in security governance.

He further cemented his expertise at Jaltz Security Nigeria Limited and later at Kanshe Infotech, where he held roles as a Third-Party Risk Analyst and Senior IT Risk and Compliance Analyst. Across these positions, Adeleye was instrumental in establishing robust compliance systems and enhancing data protection for both public and private sector clients.

In addition to his recent NIPES Fellowship, Adeleye is also a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC-Nigeria) and the Commonwealth Academy of Leadership and Management (CALM) in the UK.

His elevation to Fellow at NIPES not only acknowledges his impressive career but also highlights the growing global influence of African professionals in technology and cybersecurity. Adeleye’s continued commitment to excellence and innovation serves as an inspiration to aspiring security professionals across borders.
